The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
