And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 To (communicate) to your heart that you may be a warner 194 in clear Arabic speech. 195 Truly, it is in the Books of the ancients. 196 Was it not a sign for them known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 they will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment. 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? 204 Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years, 205 And then the promise that is given to them, does come upon them- 206 So of what benefit will be the comforts that they were using? 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 By way of reminder; and We never are unjust. 209 It was not the satans who brought it down: 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 They have been precluded from hearing it. 212 So do not call upon another god with Allah, lest you should be one of those who are punished. 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 Have trust in the Majestic and All-merciful God, 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 And thy movements among those who fall prostrate. 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 They give ear, but most of them are liars. 223 Only the erring people follow the poets. 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
