Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 for an appointed time". 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
