Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
59 verses, revealed in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ha-Mim. 1 By the clear Book, 2 We have indeed sent it down in a blessed night indeed it is We Who warn. 3 In it every wise matter is determined 4 As a command from before Us. Verily We were to become senders: 5 A mercy from your Lord; indeed He only is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 6 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them - if you could but grasp it with inner certainty! 7 There is no god but He; He gives life and makes to die; your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients. 8 Nay, but they play in doubt. 9 Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke. 10 That will envelop the people. This will be a painful torment. 11 [They will say], "Our Lord, remove from us the torment; indeed, we are believers." 12 But how will they take heed? Such are they that a Messenger came to them clearly expounding the Truth, 13 Then they turned away from him and said, "[He was] taught [and is] a madman." 14 Surely We will remove the punishment a little, (but) you will surely return (to evil). 15 The Day when We shall seize them with a mighty seizing, that will be the Day on which We shall inflict upon you full retribution. 16 ۞ And before them We indeed tried the people of Firaun, and an Honourable Noble Messenger came to them. 17 Saying: Deliver to me the servants of Allah, surely I am a faithful apostle to you, 18 "And exalt not (yourselves) against Allah. Truly, I have come to you with a manifest authority. 19 "And truly, I seek refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me (or call me a sorcerer or kill me). 20 And if ye will not believe in me, then let me alone. 21 He therefore prayed to his Lord, “These are a guilty nation!” 22 Then (his Lord commanded): Take away My slaves by night. Lo! ye will be followed, 23 And leave the sea behind you as calm as ever. Surely they are an army that is doomed to be drowned.” 24 How many gardens and fountains did they leave behind, 25 and sown fields and splendid mansions, 26 and pleasant things in which they delighted! 27 Even so; and We caused to inherit them another people. 28 And neither heaven nor earth shed a tear over them: nor were they given a respite (again). 29

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
