Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

SAY: "I SEEK refuge with the Lord of rising day 1 "From the evil of what He has created; 2 from the evil of night's darkness when it spreads around; 3 And from the evil of those who blow on knots, 4 and from the evil of the envier when he envies.” 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
