Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
