And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
