The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
