And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82
