The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 surely your God is One, 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
