It is We Who have sent down the Qur'an to thee by stages. 23 So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever]. 24 And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening 25 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer). 26 Verily! These (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard). 27 We have created them and have given them strength. Had We wanted, We could have replaced them with another people like them. 28 Verily this is an admonition; then whosoever will, may choose a way unto his Lord. 29 But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 30 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zalimun, (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) He has prepared a painful torment. 31
