۞ And if every person who had wronged (by disbelieving in Allah and by worshipping others besides Allah), possessed all that is on earth, and sought to ransom himself therewith (it will not be accepted), and they would feel in their hearts regret when they see the torment, and they will be judged with justice, and no wrong will be done unto them. 54 Assuredly, everything that is in the heavens and on the earth belongs to God. Assuredly, God's promise is true. Yet most of them do not realize it. 55 It is He who gives life and causes death, and to Him you shall be returned. 56 O mankind! there hath come to you a direction from your Lord and a healing for the (diseases) in your hearts,- and for those who believe, a guidance and a Mercy. 57 Say: In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy: therein let them rejoice. It is better than what they hoard. 58 Say: "Have you ever considered all the means of sustenance which God has bestowed upon you from on high - and which you thereupon divide into 'things forbidden' and 'things lawful? Say: "Has God given you leave [to do this] - or do you, perchance, attribute your own guesswork to God?" 59 What will they think, who forge falsehood against God; on the Day of Resurrection? God is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 60
