3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 and caused his offspring to endure [on earth]; 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart, 84 "Behold!" he said to his father and to his people, "What are these that you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood-god beside Allah that ye desire? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 He looked up at the stars. 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 They replied: 'Build for him a building and cast him into the fire' 97 (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated! 98 And he said: verily I am going to my Lord who will guide me. 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 and We preserved for him a good name among posterity. 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
