Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble, recording, 11 who know whatever you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
