The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
