Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the glorious morning light; 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
