And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 and there is not one of you but shall pass through it: a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled. 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 How many generations have We destroyed before them, who were far greater in riches and more boastful! 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)? 78 Absolutely not, We will record his words and prolong his punishment. 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
