Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.
