۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
