Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 until you come to the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
