The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
