And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
