Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 All these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn (to the Truth). 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15
