Nooh 2 of 2

Noah said: "O my Lord! They have disobeyed me, but they follow (men) whose wealth and children give them no increase but only Loss. 21 And they contrived a plot of great magnitude, 22 and they said [to their followers], "Do not ever abandon your deities: abandon neither Wadd, nor Suwa', and neither Yaghuth, nor Yauq nor Nasr!" 23 And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error." 24 And so, because of their sins, they were drowned [in the great flood,] and were doomed to suffer the fire [of the hereafter]; and they found none who could succour them against God. 25 And Nuh said: My Lord! leave not upon the land any dweller from among the unbelievers: 26 "If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers." 27 Lord, forgive me, my parents, the believers who have entered my home and all believing men and women. Give nothing to the unjust but destruction. 28

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
