The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 and what could make you know what it is that comes in the night? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 There is not a soul but over it is a keeper. 4 So let man consider of what he was created; 5 He was created of spurting water 6 Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life). 8 On the Day when secrets are disclosed, 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 And by the Earth which opens out (for the gushing of springs or the sprouting of vegetation),- 12 Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement, 13 and is no idle tale. 14 They are cunningly devising, 15 And I plot a plot (against them). 16 Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while. 17
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
