Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Hath there come unto thee the story of the Enveloping Event? 1 On that Day, there shall be downcast faces, 2 laboring, wornout, 3 They will suffer the heat of the blazing fire 4 They will be given to drink from a boiling spring, 5 They will have no food other than bitter and thorny fruit 6 that will neither nourish nor satisfy their hunger. 7 (Other) faces on that day shall be happy, 8 well-pleased with [the fruit of] their striving, 9 In an elevated garden, 10 hearing there no babble; 11 In it there shall be a flowing spring, 12 Wherein are couches raised 13 and goblets laid out, 14 well-placed cushions, 15 And rich carpets spread. 16 Do (these unbelievers) not observe the camels: how they were created? 17 And at the sky - how it is raised? 18 And the mountains – how they have been established? 19 And how the earth was outstretched? 20 Admonish thou then; thou art but an admonisher. 21 thou canst not compel them [to believe]. 22 But if any turn away and reject Allah,- 23 Allah will punish him with direst punishment. 24 Lo! unto Us is their return 25 and then it is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
