[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
