Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble, writers 11 They know what you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
