Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

We revealed the Quran on the Night of Destiny. 1 And what will make you comprehend what the grand night 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 The angels along with the Spirit descend in it by the permission of their Lord with all kinds of decrees. 4 Peace it is, till the rising of dawn. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
