Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 when heaven shall be split 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is it timed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for the living and the dead? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
