The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 in columns outstretched. 9
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
