The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
