▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
