۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
