The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
