Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
