Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
