1/2 Hizb 54

۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
