Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8
Almighty God's Truth.
