The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the fig, and the olive, 1 And by oath of Mount Sinai, 2 and this land secure! 3 Indeed, We created the human with the fairest stature 4 and We shall return him to the lowest of the low, 5 Except those who accepted faith and did good deeds – for them is a never ending reward. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not God the most equitable of all judges? 8
