The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A burning fire. 11
