We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
