Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
