Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds: 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 And verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well]. 196 And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus it passes through the hearts of the criminals. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment; 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Seest thou? If We do let them enjoy (this life) for a few years, 205 and then what they were promised comes to them, 206 What shall that which they enjoyed avail them? 207 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 The devils did not bring it down. 210 And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 (Muhammad), do not worship anything besides God lest you suffer the punishment. 213 And warn thou thy clan, the nearest ones. 214 and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee; 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 Have trust in the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 and when you turn among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Indeed only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 Who gives ear (to the devils and they pour what they may have heard of the unseen from the angels), and most of them are liars. 223 Only the erring people follow the poets. 224 Did you not see that they keep wandering in every valley? 225 and how they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe and do good and remember Allah much, and defend themselves after they are oppressed; and they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back. 227
Almighty God's Truth.
