And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
