The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the heaven, and the night-visitor, 1 And what shall teach thee what is the night-star? 2 It is the shining star -- 3 Over every soul there is a watcher. 4 Let man reflect on what he was created from. 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 Coming from between the back and the ribs. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 when he will be helpless, with no supporter. 10 By the rotating heavens 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 And it is not amusement. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 And I am plotting a plot. 16 So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while. 17

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
