And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 'When we are dead and become dust and bones shall we be resurrected? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Ask them: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
