The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 In extended columns. 9
