The deniers of the Truth say: “Do not give ear to the Qur'an and cause interruption when it is recited; thus perhaps you will gain the upper hand.” 26 So We shall let the unbelievers taste a terrible chastisement, and shall recompense them with the worst of what they were working. 27 That requital of God's enemies will be the fire [of the hereafter]: in it will they have an abode of immeasurable duration as an outcome of their having knowingly rejected Our messages. 28 And the unbelievers shall say, 'Our Lord, show us those that led us astray, both jinn and men, and we shall set them underneath our feet, that they may be among the lower ones. 29 Verily those who say: our Lord is Allah, and have thereafter stood fast by it, upon them there shall come down the angels: fear not, nor grieve, and rejoice in the tidings of the Garden which ye have been promised. 30 "We have been your friends in the life of this world and are (so) in the Hereafter. Therein you shall have (all) that your inner-selves desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask for. 31 An entertainment from the Forgiving, the Merciful. 32
