And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
